Congressional Recognition for African American Theater Arts Troupe (AATAT)

Pictured here is a letter of Congressional Recognition from Congressman Jimmy Panetta for the African American Theater Arts Troupe (AATAT) in honor of the AATAT 30th anniversary in 2021.
This letter was awarded during my time as Vice Chair on the Cultural Arts & Diversity Board of Directors where I worked to fight for administrative support and the longevity of the AATAT program. My team and I managed to produce a major virtual celebration of over 500 guests during the COVID19 pandemic. These efforts by student leaders and staff won federal recognition. |
