RECOGNITION

PROGRAM RECOGNITION DURING LEADERSHIP

These letters of campus, mayoral, state, and congressional recognition were awarded during my time as Vice Chair on the Cultural Arts & Diversity Board of Directors where I worked to fight for administrative support and the longevity of the AATAT program culminating in a celebration of AATAT's 30th Anniversary.

My team and I managed to produce a major virtual celebration of over 500 guests during the COVID19 pandemic. These efforts by student leaders and staff garnered support across in programming and funding that was supported across campus and by the administration theater arts department.
You can see the recording of our virtual gala here.
I am so proud of the work that my leadership team and I poured into CADrc to uplift others. I'm forever grateful for my experiences with them.
We were also featured in our campus' student press: "African American Theater Arts Troupe Presents 30th Anniversary Gala"  - by Gabriela Levy & Lucy King (City On A Hill Press) Feb. 2021

as well as our local county paper: "African American Theater Arts Troupe Celebrates 30th Anniversary" - by Anna Maria Camardo (Goodtimes) Mar. 2021
